This coming weekend, March 28th-30th, will be the annual and ever popular, Monster, Horror, and Sci~Fi convention, Monsterpalooza! at the Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, in Burbank California.

Monsterpalooza is a 3 day convention featuring some of the most notable names in Monsters, makeup &  special effects.  It’s about monsters, the people who make them, and the fans who make them popular.

The three day event has something for everyone and includes film fests, a cool museum with original monsters, animatronics, original screen used props, costumes, and art, discussion panels, make up classes, and more. This years show will also feature the second annual Monsterpalooza Charity Auction held by Blacksparrow Auctions which feature rare, cool, one of a kind horror and sci fi items all benefiting charity!

This years guest lineup so far is pretty impressive with such luminaries as Kenji Sahara, Haruo Nakajima, Nancy Allen, Russ Tamblyn, Rutger Hauer, Joanna Cassidy, James Hong, Ashley Laurence, Doug Bradley,Tippi Hedren, Julie Adams, Ricou Browning, Richard Kiel, Bully Mumy, Earl Hamner, Geroge Clayton Johnson, Lance Henriksen, Carla Laemmle, and many others.

At last years show everyone attending had a great time as artists, actors, and directors met fans were as fans themselves checking out everything inside the show. There are also some very cool demonstrations and vendors too!

Attendees can meet their favorite actors, directors and artists from the Horror and Sci Fi genre in a welcoming, exciting, friendly atmosphere without the typical convention stress sometimes found at other conventions.
