Actor and comedian, Will Farrell and many other notable people are taking part in Mozilla Firefox’s Challenge benefiting various charities.
Mozilla will donate $25,000 to the cause that raises the most money until Jan 11, 2012. Each team is giving away great prizes too. You could win a “Milk” poster signed by actor, Sean Penn, an iChat with actor, Seth Rogen, a visit with actor, Jason Bateman on the set of Arrested Development, an outgoing voicemail greeting recorded by actor, Paul Rudd, 2 tickets to join actor, Edward Norton for the premiere of “The Bourne Legacy“, a cowbell signed by actor and comedian, Will Ferrell, and much more.
Will Ferrell’s charity, “Cancer for College‘, was started in 1993 by cancer survivor and activist, Craig Pollard to provide college scholarships to cancer survivors. Will was one of Craig’s fraternity brothers at college and has joined Craig in many of his fundraisers for the charity.
Since their start, “Cancer for College” has provided over $1.5 million in scholarships to nearly 900 cancer survivors and with your help they will will be able to provide much more.
