The 1969 Dodge Charger used in the first episode of the CBS television series, “The Dukes of Hazzard“, is being auctioned by Barret Jackson as part of their  January 15th~22nd 2011, car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

According to the auction description this General Lee was seen in the Dukes episode entitled, “One Arm Bandits” which aired January 26th, 1979. The car, dubbed, “Lee 1“, made it’s first and only jump in the episode over a Hazard County Police cruiser and was also seen a few times in the episode before the jump.

The car was in pretty bad shape when it was restored to its’ pre jump condition, and is now being offered at auction with no reserve. Bidder information can be found HERE.
