Comic Con previews: Here first, Stan Winston, James Bond, & more!

 

 

Preview day at Comic Con  was packed with excited fans who started lining up very early to attend the 6-9pm preview and they were not disappointed. There is always something for everyone at Comic Con and this years preview was amazing.

At booth #1605:

Profiles in History clients will have a chance to meet Matt Winston, son of legendary effects artist and storyteller, Stan Winston. Fans will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime display of Stan’s iconic creations from his vast carrer and see a multimedia display with exclusive footage. 

Free photo opportunities are welcome and both Profiles CEO, Joe Maddalena and Matt will be available to answer fans questions and share information.

In conjunction with the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Matt’s family will be sharing information regarding his a new school for visual arts, The Stan Winston School of Character Arts.

This unprecedented school will feature training DVD’s and live web classes with some of the top artistsans in the field and students can not only take the course in their homes, they will also be learning live, in real time on the web.

The nice folks as the Factory Entertainment booth # 4044, had some cool replica props they have for sale. You can find some cool replicas and figures from the original Green Hornet, James Bond, The Princess Bride, Universal Monsters, The Beatles and more. As a special treat Comic Con attendees they brought along some very rare, original props from a few very famous James Bond films.
